The Mistletoe Martini Recipe

Imagine a walk through a snow-dusted evergreen forest, followed by a cozy holiday party where someone hands you the perfect cocktail. This martini captures that feeling with smooth gin, tart cranberry, fresh lime, and a hint of rosemary.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin (or vodka if you prefer a smoother, more neutral flavor)

  • 1 oz cranberry juice, preferably unsweetened

  • ½ oz fresh lime juice

  • ½ oz rosemary simple syrup

  • Ice

  • Fresh rosemary sprig, for garnish

  • Fresh cranberries and a lime twist, for an extra-festive touch

Instructions

  1. Mix the magic. Add the gin or vodka, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, and rosemary simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

  2. Shake things up. Shake vigorously for about 15–20 seconds until well chilled.

  3. Strain and serve. Strain into a chilled martini glass.

  4. Deck the glass. Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig and a few cranberries. For extra holiday sparkle, add a festive cocktail pick.

  5. Sip and celebrate! Enjoy your little taste of holiday magic.

How to Make Rosemary Simple Syrup

Combine ½ cup water and ½ cup sugar in a small saucepan. Heat gently, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Add 2–3 rosemary sprigs, remove from the heat, and steep for 15–20 minutes. Strain, cool, and refrigerate in a sealed container. Use within about two weeks.
